We are PhD students in the Doctoral Program on Dynamic Capabilities and Relationships which is a joint project of the European University Viadrina and the German Graduate School of Management and Law. We are currently putting a presenter symposium together for the 2016 Academy of Management meeting (5th – 9th August) with the title “Exploring Dynamic Managerial Capabilities: Human Capital, Social Capital and Cognition in Strategic Decision Making” and would like to ask you if you would be interested in contributing a paper to this symposium. This is the third year in which students from our program are organizing a symposium on dynamic capabilities. In the previous two years scholars such as Margaret Peteraf (Dartmouth College), Jeff Martin (U. of Alabama), Gianmario Verona (U. of Bocconi), and Oliver Schilke (U. of Arizona) participated in our symposia either as presenters or discussants and facilitators. If you are interested in participating in our symposium, we would need a 2-5 page synopsis of the paper by January 5, 2016.
Please let us know by December 18, 2015 (with an abstract of the paper) whether you would like to participate in our symposium.
