The 31st Annual Conference of the British Academy of Management (BAM) was hosted this year by the University of Warwick from 5th - 7th September. The interactive workshop From Being to Becoming: Understanding Quality in Qualititative Process Studies by DCR-members Markus Vodosek, Sarah Stahnske and Giorgi Shuradze gave at least 29 participants and 20 viewers a better understanding of how to ensure quality in qualitative studies. They were not only able to test their initial reseach designs among a group of 7 experienced researchers but had also the possibility to network with novice and senior scholars. Robert Chia (University of Glasgow) and Honig Benson (McMaster University Canada) gave insights into the implications of doing research with a process perspective and the characteristics of a well-crafted qualitative study that uses a process view.
